Water Damage
Hockessin, DE

During a cold snap in early January, 2009, a pipe in the basement of a residential property burst. In hours the 1,300 square feet of basement was flooded to a depth of 5 feet.

Within 2 hours of the emergency call DRI's experienced Water Damage team was on site and deploying the TES drying system. But before they could start the Thermal Energy drying process the basement had to be drained.

Diamond Restorations High-Volume Water Pumps extracted the flood water in 4 hours. Once the standing water was removed the TES unit could be put in place and turned on.

The entire basement was dried in under 30 hours without any demolition; a typical "day in the office" for TES. But the work had only just begun. DRI did a pack-out inventory of the contents of the basement that could be salvaged.

The water damage was so extensive the domicile was leaning on a shifted foundation and might have to be lifted, the foundation fixed and then put back in place.

Diamond Restoration's Water Damage crew
did it right, right away.
