A cold snap that hit the Mid-Atlantic in January had some dire consequences for the insured within Diamond Restoration's territory. During the same week that DRI restored a water event in Hockessin, they were called in to deal with this problem in Newark.
A pipe in the upstairs master bedroom closet burst flooding all floors of a 3,500 square foot house. Fortunately the house was unoccupied. However, it was on the market for sale.
The local fire department was called to the scene when neighbors noticed the flood waters coming out of the front door. The water had been running, unnoticed for over 12 hours! As soon as they were on the scene the FD knew to call Diamond Restoration.
DRI was on the scene in less than one hour from the call and in less than 30 hours, using TES and there standard operating procedure the entire house, including the basement, was dry.
